What is InYourClass.com?
InYourClass.com is an online community board created to bring CUNY together. Our goal is to provide a media outlet that allows students, faculty and staff of CUNY to communicate and collaborate cross-campus.
Why do I need to sign up with an email address that ends with .cuny.edu?
InYourClass.com is created specifically for members of the CUNY community and as such we can't allow outsiders to have access to certain information. Also its a good way for us to trace back any malicious activity since each one of us is given a specific email address. Basically we need to ask for CUNY email so that we keep ourselves safe.
* make sure you NEVER share your CUNY email password! We are asking you to make up one, not give us yours.

How can I post on the bulletin board?
Simple, if you have an inyourclass account all you need to do is type up your post on the top left hand corner and your post will automatically show up. But make sure you're in the right category first (ie, if you want to post news, go there first). ALSO please keep it clean!!
How can I communicate with other members or people in my class?
We encourage you to include contact information when you post. User profiles are not visible unless they post or are signed up for your classes. To communicate with a user just click on their profile.
Where can I leave feedback?
In the bulletin board, there is a category called "Feedback". We constantly want to make inyourclass better so we REALLY appreciate feedback
I don't know the info to my email address, I can't verify my account. What do I do?
If you don't know your CUNY email try to contact the information helpdesk in your campus and they'll give you your CUNY log-on info. Once you log-in to your email search for an email from InYourClass.com and click on the verifying link. Please contact us at support@inyourclass.com if you still have questions.
How do I add classes?
When you log-in, on the right hand corner of the homepage there is a box that says "You are not currently enrolled in any classes" and a link called "add classes", click on it and it will lead you to a search bar where you can see all the classes offered by a college in the current semester. Find your classes, check the box on the left of the class and click "add" on the bottom...congrats, you've just added your classes! Now you can see who else is in your class!
How do I add clubs?
Go to you profile, click on "add/join club", type in club name and description(usually they are the same) and your done! If someone has already added the club, then you will be asked to join, if you're the first person to add a club then you will be taken straight to club page.
Can teachers and staff join classes?
Yes. Teachers are welcome to join classes and give their feedback, but the class community is still controlled by students.
Who can see my profile?
Only members of the CUNY community can see your profile.
